These Background Review Documents contain data, a proposed list of substances, and minimum procedural standards that were reviewed by an independent Expert Panel in May 2002. Please refer to the final report, entitled ICCVAM Evaluation of In Vitro Test Methods For Detecting Potential Endocrine Disruptors: Estrogen Receptor and Androgen Receptor Binding and Transcriptional Activation Assays (NIH Publication No. 03-4503), for the final ICCVAM recommended substances and minimum procedural standards.

This proposed list of substances was made available in FR notice (Vol. 67, No. 204, pp. 64902-3) on October 22, 2002. The reader is referred to the final ICCVAM Evaluation Report for the final ICCVAM list of recommended substances.
